Develop in the students of the Faculty of Engineering an intellectual maturity that allows them to have a high capacity of analysis and synthesis to formulate and solve problems related to their work area. This maturity and capabilities are based on a deep understanding of physical and chemical phenomena and their mathematical conceptualization, which achieves a mastery of the complete knowledge. For this, the basic training of students includes the assimilation of scientific and technical knowledge through the study and comprehension of basic mathematical tools and their application to the different specialties of engineering.
